The First Term Successes
Property Tax Relief Bill
Through championing HB 581, we now can allow a 1% Sales Tax to offset property taxes. In Catoosa County this will help dramatically reduce our property taxes to near zero. I hope we can eliminate sales tax in the future for all citizens.
School Choice and Excellent Education
With three children, two in the public education school system, I understand it is paramount we prepare the next generation with fully funded public education. It must be a delicate balance between a parent's right of choice, the benefit for all of the public and what's best for the individual child. I promised to fight for school choice and in 2024 Georgia achieved it.
Fighting to Preserve Our Catoosa
In my first term I have fought for lower taxes, local control, and local grants and aid to protect the Catoosa County we call home. I will continue to fight to preserve the Catoosa County I grew up in for my children's generation and future generations.
